Task Management Overview

Training Resource • AGENTVIEW Support

Stay on top of your daily activities with AGENTVIEW's Task Manager. Learn how to organize tasks, track deadlines, manage priorities, and keep important client follow-ups from getting overlooked.

Staying organized is an important part of managing a successful real estate business. Between following up with leads, scheduling appointments, and keeping track of client commitments, it's easy for important tasks to get overlooked.

The AGENTVIEW Task Manager helps you keep everything organized in one place. You can create tasks, monitor deadlines, set priorities, and track completed activities so you always know what needs your attention.

Accessing Your Task Manager

  1. From the left navigation menu, click My Tasks.

  2. Your Task Manager will open, displaying your task summary and available tasks.

From here, you can review upcoming activities, find specific tasks, and manage your daily workload.

Understanding Your Task Summary

At the top of your Task Manager, you'll find summary cards that give you a quick overview of your tasks.

  • Total Tasks: See the total number of tasks in your task summary.

  • Due Today: Identify tasks that need to be completed today.

  • Overdue: See tasks with deadlines that have already passed.

  • Completed: Review how many tasks have been marked as finished.

These summaries make it easier to identify what needs attention without reviewing every task individually.

Example: If you start your morning and notice three overdue tasks and four due today, you'll know exactly where to focus your attention first.

Viewing and Organizing Your Tasks

AGENTVIEW provides different views to help you manage your activities.

  • My Tasks: View your open tasks and responsibilities assigned to you.

  • All Tasks: Review all tasks available to you in the Task Manager.

  • Completed: Access tasks that have already been finished.

You can switch between these views depending on what you'd like to review.

For example, My Tasks is a great place to start your morning, while Completed helps you review activities you've already taken care of.

Searching and Sorting Your Tasks

As your task list grows, AGENTVIEW makes it easy to find what you're looking for.

Searching for a Task

Use the Search Tasks field to locate a task by its subject.

For example, if you remember creating a task called "Follow Up with Seller," you can search for that subject instead of scrolling through your entire list.

Sorting Your Tasks

You can also arrange your tasks using the available sorting options:

  • Due Date: Organize tasks by their deadlines.

  • Time: Sort tasks by their scheduled time.

  • Priority: Arrange tasks based on their importance.

  • Task Subject: Organize tasks alphabetically.

  • Status: Group tasks according to their current status.

Select your preferred sorting option, choose Ascending or Descending, and click Sort.

Quick Tip: Sorting by Due Date is a convenient way to identify upcoming deadlines and plan your daily activities.

You can also manage tasks directly from your task list.

Making Task Management Part of Your Daily Routine

Your Task Manager is most helpful when you use it consistently.

Here are a few ways to incorporate it into your real estate business:

  • Start Your Day: Review overdue tasks and activities due today.

  • Prioritize Important Follow-Ups: Identify buyers, sellers, or prospects who need immediate attention.

  • Stay Ahead of Deadlines: Keep track of listing appointments, transaction milestones, and client commitments.

  • Review Your Progress: Mark completed activities as finished so your task list stays organized.

Quick Tip: Make it a habit to review your Task Manager at the beginning and end of each workday. A few minutes of reviewing your tasks can help you stay focused, keep your commitments, and avoid missing important opportunities.
