Twilio Integration

Training Resource • AGENTVIEW Support

Connect Twilio to AGENTVIEW to call and text your leads directly from your CRM. Learn how to set up your Twilio account, connect your business phone number, and manage client communications in one place.

Want an easier way to call and text your leads without constantly switching between applications?

AGENTVIEW integrates with Twilio, allowing you to use a dedicated business phone number to communicate with your contacts directly from your CRM.

Once connected, you can make calls from the AGENTVIEW Dialer, contact leads from their profiles, and send business text messages. Your communication activity is also tracked in AGENTVIEW, helping you stay organized with your follow-ups.

Step 1: Create Your Twilio Account

Before connecting Twilio to AGENTVIEW, you'll need a Twilio account and a phone number.

  1. Visit Twilio.com and create an account.

  2. Follow Twilio's instructions to complete your account setup.

  3. Purchase a phone number that supports calling and SMS messaging.

  4. Keep your Twilio account information handy for the next steps.

Good to Know: Twilio is a separate service. Your phone number, calling charges, and text messaging costs are billed directly through Twilio, not AGENTVIEW.

Step 2: Activate the Twilio Add-On

To use Twilio calling and messaging inside AGENTVIEW, you'll need to activate the Twilio add-on.

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Integrations.

  2. Find the Twilio add-on.

  3. Follow the instructions to purchase and activate the integration.

Once activated, AGENTVIEW will use Twilio instead of your device's default calling applications for supported calling and messaging actions.

Step 3: Connect Your Twilio Account

Now it's time to connect your Twilio account to AGENTVIEW.

  1. Open Integrations and locate the Twilio Integration section.

  2. Enter the following information from your Twilio account:

    • Twilio Account SID: Your unique Twilio account identifier.

    • Twilio Auth Token: Your private authentication token used to connect your account.

    • Twilio Phone Number: The business phone number you purchased through Twilio.

  3. Click Save Twilio Settings to save your connection.

You can find your Account SID and Auth Token in your Twilio Console.

Keep your Auth Token private, just like a password.

Step 4: Start Making Calls

Once your Twilio account is connected, you can begin calling leads directly from AGENTVIEW.

Calling from the AGENTVIEW Dialer

The Dialer is especially useful when you're working through a list of leads or following up with multiple contacts.

  1. Open the Dialer and load the contact you'd like to call.

  2. Select the phone number you want to reach.

  3. Click the Call button.

  4. Twilio will first call your phone. Answer that call.

  5. Once you answer, Twilio will connect you to your contact.

You can continue working through your leads using the Dialer.

Calling from a Contact Profile

Need to call a specific client?

  1. Open the contact's profile in AGENTVIEW.

  2. Find the Call Contact option.

  3. Click it to begin the call.

  4. Answer the incoming Twilio call on your phone to connect with your client.

This makes it convenient to reach clients while reviewing their contact information and previous activity.

Step 5: Set Up Business Text Messaging

Twilio also allows you to send business text messages through AGENTVIEW.

Before you can start texting, your Twilio phone number must support SMS, and your business messaging setup must meet Twilio's registration requirements.

For U.S. business messaging using standard 10-digit numbers, this generally includes A2P 10DLC registration.

This is a registration process that helps mobile carriers recognize legitimate business text messages.

To get started:

  1. Sign in to your Twilio Console.

  2. Follow Twilio's business messaging registration instructions.

  3. Complete the required business and messaging information.

  4. Once your messaging setup is approved and active, return to AGENTVIEW.

You can then open a contact profile and use the available text messaging option to communicate with your leads.

Make sure you have the appropriate permission from your contacts before sending business or marketing text messages.

Keeping Your Communications Organized

One of the benefits of connecting Twilio is that your calling and messaging activity can be tracked within AGENTVIEW.

This helps you:

  • Keep a history of communications with your leads.

  • Stay organized when following up with prospects.

  • Manage calls and messages from your CRM instead of switching between multiple applications.

  • Maintain more consistent communication with your clients.

Quick Tip: If you change your Twilio business phone number, remember to update it in your AGENTVIEW integration settings so your calls and messages continue using the correct number.
